About Dr. Alim Al Razy (ডা. আলিম আল রাজি)

Dr. Alim Al Razy is a highly dedicated Medicine Specialist, academic physician, and public health professional with extensive experience in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Neurology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology. He is currently serving under the Bangladesh Civil Service (Health Cadre) and is actively involved in patient care, postgraduate medical education, and clinical research.

He completed his MBBS in 2015 and successfully finished his internship training in 2016. Driven by a passion for excellence in medicine, he passed FCPS Part-I in January 2017 and subsequently underwent structured training in Internal Medicine, gaining experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Razy has significant experience in managing critically ill patients through his work in Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Coronary Care Units (CCU). During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served in the COVID ICU at Shahid Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital, where he was directly involved in the treatment and critical care management of severely ill patients.

In 2020, he joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS Health Cadre) and has continued to serve patients with dedication and professionalism. His academic achievements include obtaining MCPS (Medicine) in January 2023 and successfully earning the prestigious FCPS (Medicine) qualification in January 2026, the highest postgraduate medical degrees in Bangladesh.

Currently, Dr. Alim Al Razy is pursuing advanced specialist training through the FCPS Neurology program at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, further expanding his expertise in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders.

Alongside his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Razy is deeply involved in postgraduate medical education. He is the author of two well-known books for postgraduate medical trainees:

Davidson Decoded – A popular resource designed to simplify Davidson’s Principles and Practice of Medicine for postgraduate written examinations.

Station Ethics – A practical guide developed for candidates preparing for the FCPS Intermediate Objective Examination (IOE) and clinical assessments.
